British Prime Minister Keir Starmer TORCHES Trump's "appalling" remarks after he mocked NATO troops as having "stayed a little back" in Afghanistan despite hundreds dying. Our draft-dodging president really struck a nerve this time... "Let me start by paying tribute to the four hundred and fifty-seven of our armed services who lost their lives in Afghanistan, I will never forget their courage, their bravery and the sacrifice that they made for their country," said Starmer. "There are many also who were injured, some with life-changing injuries. And so I consider President Trump's remarks to be insulting and frankly appalling," he continued. "And I'm not surprised they've caused such hurt to the loved ones of those who were killed or injured and in fact across the country." Trump made his asinine remarks at Davos, seemingly for not other reason than to insult and alienate our allies in his never-ending push to isolate America from the rest of the world. The sickening hypocrisy is that Bone Spurs himself never served in the military and in fact went out of his way to cravenly avoid military service. "We've never needed them," Trump said of our NATO allies. "We have never really asked anything of them. You know, they'll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan, or this or that. And they did – they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines." In truth, our allies sacrificed, fought, and died in Afghanistan after the United States invoked Article 5 of the NATO charter after 9/11. Disrespecting their memories in this fashion is a new low for Trump. In a seperate statement, Starmer's office spokesperson said that Trump "was wrong to diminish the role of NATO troops." British opposition leader called the remarks a "disgrace." "We mustn't have these sort of throwaway comments that actually weaken the strong relationship between those countries in the alliance,” she added. Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey called them a "huge insult to our brave soldiers” and called on Starmer to demand an apology from Trump. Even Trump's ally, far-right Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage said that Trump "is wrong." Unfortunately, we know all too well that Trump will never apologize. The man is a sociopath who is incapable of empathy, understanding, or self-reflection. That said, please allow the rest of America to apologize to our British friends on behalf of our nation. Trump doesn't represent us. We despise him too. Please like and share!
