Democrats expose the billionaire behind Epstein's vast wealth in a BLISTERING hearing - "diabolical master manipulator."

The man who bankrolled Jeffrey Epstein says he was just a dupe - and Democrats aren't buying it.

In a high-stakes deposition before the House Oversight Committee, retail billionaire Les Wexner insisted he had "no firsthand knowledge" of Epstein's crimes and was merely conned by a "clever, diabolical master manipulator."

But Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) delivered a blunt reality check during a press conference covered by CNN during a break in the proceedings.

"There would be no Epstein Island, there would be no Epstein plane, there would be no money to traffic women and girls - Mr. Epstein would not be the wealthy man he was without the support of Les Wexner," Congressman Garcia accusingly reminded the world.

Wexner, who handed Epstein sweeping financial control through a power of attorney in the 1990s, claims he never saw, heard, or suspected anything involving minors. He says he visited Epstein's island only once, "for a few hours," and never set foot in Epstein's New York townhouse after selling it.

Democrats called that explanation implausible.

Rep. Stephen Lynch said Wexner is "lucid" and "competent" - just "not telling the truth." Rep. Dave Min added, "Everyone around Jeffrey Epstein knew exactly what he was up to."

And perhaps most jaw-dropping: Wexner told lawmakers he has never been questioned by the FBI or DOJ about Epstein.

"How outrageous is that?" Garcia fired back, noting survivors have named Wexner and that Epstein's fortune - the fuel for his trafficking network - flowed directly from the billionaire's accounts.

Wexner hasn't been charged with a crime and denies any involvement. But as Oversight Democrats dig deeper into Epstein's web of wealth and power, one question keeps hanging in the air: If Epstein was the monster, who funded the monster?

Because money doesn't move itself.

And Democrats are making it clear - the era of billionaires shrugging and saying "I had no idea" may finally be over.
