Trump spins wild new lies on Iran - "If we waited TWO WEEKS, they would have had a nuclear weapon!"

After four days of changing stories, Donald Trump just hit a new low with another round of excremental matter from his lips, attempting to justify his illegal war with Iran.

First, he is claiming "tremendous progress" as U.S. forces "rapidly" wipe out missiles and launchers, while in reality, Iran is putting them to use attacking U.S. interests all over the region.

Painting Iran as a "nation out of control," he insisted they would have used their mythical nukes on us if we "waited any longer."

The new steaming pile: "If we didn't hit within two weeks, they would have had a nuclear weapon." Then Trump tripped over himself, adding that only the B-2 attack last summer prevented Iran from having a nuclear weapon," adding, "when crazy people have nuclear weapons, bad things happen."

We'll agree with that last one. But if, as he says, our intervention last year prevented them from achieving their evil designs on building a weapon, how were they only two weeks away right now?

In other words, Trump's new story directly contradicts everything the administration said before the bombs started falling: Iran's program was already "obliterated" and gone for good. Six weeks ago, the National Defense Strategy never mentioned an imminent nuclear threat or missiles that could reach the U.S. homeland.

Now Trump's timeline keeps shifting - first obliterated, now two weeks from a bomb - classic hype to justify endless escalation - the same sort that got us into our forever-war in Iraq.

Meanwhile, at least six American troops are dead, more wounded, gas prices over $3, stocks crashing, the Strait of Hormuz closed, and fears of boots on the ground grow by the day.

Trump's exhausted rants can't hide the truth: this illegal war of choice is spiraling, casualties mounting, and his excuses crumbling faster than his poll numbers.

Everything is falling apart for Trump. His tough guy image is in tatters, and these frantic lies are the sound of a regime collapsing under its own weight.
