Trump vows to sign no other bill until his election-steal act passes in furious Truth Social tantrum!

Donald Trump just exploded on Truth Social, gushing over Scott Pressler's Fox & Friends appearance and demanding a filibuster or "talking filibuster" to force through the so-called Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act.

He falsely calls it an "88% issue with ALL VOTERS" that "must be done immediately," "supersedes everything else.”

In a frenzy of all-caps, he insists it "MUST GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE." Trump vows he won't sign other bills until it's passed - "NOT THE WATERED DOWN VERSION - GO FOR THE GOLD: MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. & PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS EXCEPT FOR MILITARY - ILLNESS, DISABILITY, TRAVEL: NO MEN IN WOMEN'S SPORTS: NO TRANSGENDER MUTILIZATION [sic] FOR CHILDREN! DO NOT FAIL!!!"

Whew! Talk about total panic put to page. Trump knows fair elections spell doom for his regime, so he's pushing this suppression monster disguised as "integrity."

The SAVE Act isn't about popular voter ID (which polls at over 80% support overall, including 71% of Democrats). It's really a voter-purge device, requiring strict proof of citizenship, like birth certificates or passports - documents that 21.3 million eligible Americans (9% of voting-age citizens) don't have readily available.

That's a disenfranchisement of 3.8 million voters, disproportionately hitting young people, people of color, and women, 69 million of whom have name change issues from birth certificates not matching married names. Over 140 million people lack passports, and 40 million struggle to obtain birth certificates.

With apologies for more all-caps, voter fraud is virtually NONEXISTENT - rates are rates as low as 0.0025 (in other words, twenty-five ten-thousandths of one percent), for impersonation, with only 31 credible cases out of 1 billion (with a “b”) ballots.

For good measure, Trump adds unrelated hate bait like banning trans kids' healthcare and "no men in women's sports" to stoke a little culture war to appeal to conservatives who have sensibly abandoned MAGA for its litany of transgressions. No mail-ins except narrow exceptions? That's straight-up rigging for low-turnout elections favoring Republicans.

Nice to see Trump taking a break from wrecking the country to give a moment's thought to stealing the midterms - without that, he'll surely lose his majority in at least one chamber of Congress.
